50,000 candidates write class 10th examination

Jammu, Feb 17, KNT: Over 50 thousand students appeared in class 10 examination across 527 centres set- up by J&K BOSE.

In a statement issued, the JKBOSE informed that the examination was held smoothly across the summer zone of Jammu Division.

The Board has made elaborate arrangements for ensuring fair, transparent and orderly exams. For the purpose, centre superintendents and supervisory staff stand deployed for duties with strict instructions to safeguard the integrity of exams.

The Board has also deployed vigilance squads for random checking to ensure compliance with examination protocol. The vigilance teams have been advised to display good behaviour with the candidates while carrying out their duties.

The Deputy Superintendents have been specifically instructed to ensure that the candidates write their series and Roll numbers correctly and sign at the appropriate place of their answer- scripts.

The Board has requested district administrations to impose restrictions under Section-163 BNSS to prevent any kind of outer interference with the sanctity of the exams. [KNT]
