Gotlibagh Residents Seek Financial Aid for Family Left Homeless in Devastating Fire
Ganderbal, July 18, KNT: Residents of Gotlibagh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district have appealed to the district administration to provide immediate financial assistance to a family whose house was completely gutted in a devastating fire, leaving them without shelter and belongings.
The affected house belonged to Muhammad Nawaz Khan, son of Sher Muhammad Khan, a resident of Gogli Bagh, Gotlibagh.
Local residents said the family was already living under difficult financial circumstances and depended on modest means for its livelihood. They added that the blaze has rendered the family homeless, further aggravating their hardships.
“The family has a large number of dependents and has been living from hand to mouth. This unfortunate incident has left them with nothing,” the residents said, urging the administration to intervene without delay.
The residents appealed to the Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal and other concerned authorities to visit the affected area, assess the damage on the ground and provide adequate financial relief and rehabilitation assistance to help the family rebuild their home and resume normal life. [KNT]
