Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Conducts Public Outreach in Nowshera

Nowshera, Mar 1, KNT: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Sunday conducted extensive public interaction meetings across Bajora, Bajabain, Sunderbani, Hanjana and Dharat areas of Nowshera Sub Division, listening to grievances and demands raised by locals.

During the daylong tour, the Deputy Chief Minister held spot inspections of several ongoing developmental projects in Nowshera and adjoining areas to assess progress and quality of execution.

Locals projected issues concerning road connectivity, drinking water supply, electricity, healthcare facilities and other developmental requirements. Responding to the concerns, the Deputy Chief Minister assured the gathering that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt redress.

He issued on-the-spot directions to officers to ensure timely resolution of grievances and stressed effective inter-departmental coordination to address public concerns in a systematic manner.

Later, the Deputy Chief Minister inspected the ongoing construction work of the Dak Bungalow at Nowshera and reviewed the pace and quality of work being carried out. He directed the executing agency to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining prescribed quality standards.

He also reviewed the balance work on the Conference Hall at Lamberi and instructed officials to expedite the remaining works so that the facility becomes operational at the earliest for public and administrative use.

The Deputy Chief Minister further visited the MCH Lamberi to assess healthcare infrastructure and services being provided to patients. He emphasized the need to further strengthen healthcare facilities to ensure improved medical care for the local population.

Among those accompanying him were ADDC Rajouri Malikzada Sheraz-ul-Haq, ADC Nowshera Pritam Lal Thapa, Chief Engineer PWD Tilak Raj, Executive Engineer PWD Nowshera Sarwar Mehmood and other district and sectoral officers. [KNT]
