Ganderbal, April 3, KNT: Three persons, including the driver, were injured after a small goods vehicle overturned in the Gund Kangan area of Ganderbal district on Friday, officials said.
According to details, a “Chhota Hathi” vehicle bearing registration number JK16B-3960 met with an accident and overturned on the road in the area.
The injured have been identified as Shafayat Ahmad Sofi, son of Ghulam Ahmad Sofi, a resident of Wasan Kangan; Mohammad Nawaz Khan, son of Sikandar Khan, also a resident of Wasan Kangan; and Mohammad Yousuf Chichi, son of Qasim Chichi, a resident of Akhal Kangan.
Soon after the accident, police from Gund reached the spot and shifted the injured to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Gund for treatment, officials said.
The condition of the injured persons was not immediately known.
Police have registered a case in connection with the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident. [KNT]
