Two Injured After Car Overturns in Budgam’s Magam Area

Budgam, April 3, KNT: Two persons were injured after a car met with an accident and overturned in the Koowosa area of Magam in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday, officials said.

According to reports, the vehicle bearing registration number DL-6CM-5746 lost control and turned over on the road, resulting in injuries to both occupants.

The injured have been identified as Usid Nazir, son of Nazir Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Mustafa Abad HMT, and Sajad Ali Dar, son of late Ghulam Mohammad Dar, a resident of Alamgari Bazar Zadibal.

The incident highlights concerns over road safety in the region, particularly in areas prone to sudden vehicle skidding or loss of control.

Both injured persons were immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

Officials said their condition is stable. Police have taken cognizance of the incident. [KNT]
