Srinagar, April 5, KNT: The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) has reported that ₹34,917 crore remained unspent in Jammu and Kashmir’s budget, pointing to gaps in financial management.
The finding, part of audit reports tabled in the Assembly, highlights that a substantial portion of allocated funds was neither utilized nor surrendered.
The audit noted that multiple departments recorded significant savings, indicating deficiencies in expenditure planning and execution.
