Minor Girl Mauled to Death by Stray Dog in North Kashmir’s Sopore

Srinagar, April 10, KNT: An eight-year-old girl was killed after being mauled by a stray dog in the Seloo area of Sopore in north Kashmir on Friday, officials said.

The incident occurred when the child had gone to an agricultural field, where she was attacked, resulting in critical injuries.

She was shifted for treatment but succumbed to her injuries, officials said.

The deceased has been identified as the daughter of Adnan Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Seloo in Sopore.

Police have initiated proceedings in the case. [KNT]
