J&K Govt Orders Transfers of Three JKAS Officers, Posts Officials to LG Secretariat

Jammu, April 13, KNT: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered transfers and postings of three JKAS officers with immediate effect in the interest of administration, according to an official order issued by the General Administration Department.

The reshuffle involves key positions in the Home Department and the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, indicating a realignment within the administrative setup.

As per the order, Ranjit Singh, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.

Vaibhav Kohli, JKAS, who was serving as Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, has been transferred and posted as Excise Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir. He replaces Subash Chander Chhibber, JKAS, who has been directed to await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.

Dr. Sunil Sharma, JKAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat. [KNT]
