Father of Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid Airlifted to New Delhi for Advanced Treatment

Srinagar, May 2, KNT: Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, father of Baramulla Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid, was airlifted to New Delhi on Saturday for advanced medical treatment, sources said.

Sheikh was shifted from Srinagar to the airport in a critical care ambulance before being flown to the national capital for specialized treatment.

Sources said the patient was transported under medical supervision from SMHS Hospital Srinagar to the airport. The transfer was carried out using a critical care ambulance, with necessary medical support provided during transit.

Two attendants accompanied the patient during the evacuation, along with a medical team to ensure stability during the journey.

The move comes as the family sought advanced treatment facilities in New Delhi in view of the patient’s condition. [KNT]
