Shergari Police Attach Land Linked to Narcotics Case

Srinagar, May 7, KNT: Police Station Shergari on Wednesday attached a property belonging to an alleged narcotics accused in the Aloochibagh area of Srinagar, officials said.

Police identified the accused as Adil Hamid Sheikh, son of Abdul Hamid Sheikh, a resident of Shaheen Colony, Aloochibagh.

According to officials, the accused is involved in an NDPS case registered at Police Station Shergari in 2022.

The attached property comprises 3.5 marlas of land bearing survey number 657 min, police said.

Officials said the action was taken as part of ongoing efforts against narcotics-related activities and assets allegedly linked to drug trafficking.
