Baramulla, May 1, KNT: The inquiry into the killing of Baramulla youth Tahir Ahmed Sofi remains incomplete, with authorities stating that the investigation is still underway.

Sub Divisional Magistrate Sopore Manzoor Ahmed Qadri said statements of witnesses have been recorded but the final report has not yet been compiled. He confirmed that the administration is continuing the probe while maintaining coordination with the Army, which is conducting a parallel inquiry into the incident.

Officials declined to disclose specific details about the stage of the investigation or the likely timeline for submission of the report. The SDM indicated that the findings would be submitted once the process is concluded.
