Divisional Commissioner Orders Demolition of Illegal Wall on State Land in Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 24, KNT: Acting against illegal encroachments on state land, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P.K. Pole has ordered the demolition of a boundary wall allegedly constructed illegally in the Naqashpora area of Srinagar.
The directive has been issued to ensure removal of the encroachment and protect state land from unauthorised occupation.
According to an official order issued from the office of the Divisional Commissioner, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate East and the Tehsildar Khanyar have been directed to remove the encroachment and submit a compliance report to the Divisional Commissioner’s office.
Officials said the action was initiated after residents of the area approached the Divisional Commissioner’s office with a complaint along with photographic evidence showing the construction of an alleged illegal boundary wall on state land.
The administration has taken note of the complaint and ordered immediate action to remove the encroachment.
Officials said the divisional administration has been taking strict measures against illegal constructions and encroachments on state land across the Kashmir Valley.
