Baramulla, March 26, KNT: Four cattle perished after a fire broke out in a cowshed in Singhpora area of Pattan in North Kashmir’s Baramulla late last night, causing panic among locals and resulting in significant property loss.

The cowshed, owned by Wali Mohammad Qureshi, was engulfed in flames during the night, with the animals trapped inside unable to escape, officials and locals said.

Authorities are assessing the full extent of the damage, while a case has been registered in this regard. [KNT]
