Srinagar, March 10, KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau on Tuesday arrested a Patwari posted in Batmaloo area of Srinagar after he was allegedly caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹10,000, officials said.

The accused has been identified as Saffdar Hussain Mir, Patwari of Halqa Batmaloo in Srinagar.

According to ACB officials, the bureau received a written complaint alleging that the Patwari was demanding a bribe of ₹10,000 for issuing revenue extracts in favour of a relative of the complainant.
