Sakina Itoo Thanks Union Education Minister for Extending NEET-UG Application Deadline

Srinagar, March 8, KNT: Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Sunday thanked Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for extending the deadline for submission of application forms for the NEET-UG 2026 examination by three days.

The minister expressed gratitude after the Union Education Ministry approved the extension of the deadline following requests from students and stakeholders.

In a post shared on the social media platform X, Itoo thanked the Union minister for promptly considering the request and extending the deadline.

According to the minister, the deadline for submitting NEET-UG 2026 application forms has now been extended until March 11, giving aspirants additional time to complete the process.

The extension is expected to benefit many students who had sought more time to submit their applications for the national-level medical entrance examination.

NEET-UG is conducted for admission to undergraduate medical courses including MBBS and BDS in medical institutions across the country. [KNT]
