J&K Assembly Privileges Committee Summons Waheed-ur-Rehman Para

Srinagar, July 23, KNT: The Committee on Privileges of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly has convened a meeting tomorrow (Friday) to examine a privilege case against PDP legislator Waheed-ur-Rehman Para.

According to an official bulletin issued by the Legislative Assembly Secretariat, the meeting will be held at 11:00 am on July 24 in the Meeting Hall of the Assembly Secretariat at Srinagar.

The meeting will be chaired by the Committee on Privileges Chairman, Bashir Ahmad Veeri. Members of the committee have been requested to attend the proceedings.

The committee members include Bashir Ahmad Shah (Veeri), Showkat Hussain Ganie, Khurshid Ahmed, Zafar Ali Khatana, Vijay Kumar, Rajeev Kumar and Darshan Kumar.

The bulletin states that Waheed-ur-Rehman Para has also been requested to appear before the committee on the scheduled date and time in connection with the privilege case.  [KNT]
