May God Destroy Those Powers Who Want to Destroy Islam: Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, March 13, KNT: National Conference President Farooq Abdullah on Friday said those who seek to destroy Islam will themselves be destroyed, while expressing hope that the ongoing conflicts would end soon and calling for unity among people.

Abdullah made the remarks while speaking to reporters in Srinagar, where he also emphasised faith in God and urged people to remain united in difficult times.

“Those who want Islam to be destroyed will be destroyed,” Farooq Abdullah said while responding to questions from journalists.

The senior political leader said that faith and unity remain essential during periods of turmoil and uncertainty.

He also expressed hope that ongoing wars and conflicts across the world would come to an end soon.

“Hope this war ends soon,” he said, without elaborating on a specific conflict.

Abdullah further said that ultimate power rests only with God.

“There is nothing except God who is all powerful and eternal,” he said while addressing reporters.

The National Conference president also called for unity among people, stressing that collective strength is necessary during challenging times.
