Jammu, April 8, KNT: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah undertook an early morning run in the Bishnah area of Jammu on Wednesday, drawing attention from locals and commuters along the route.
The chief minister’s run quickly became a point of public interest, with common joggers and pedestrians pausing to watch as he passed through the area. Several onlookers were seen recording videos on their mobile phones.
The activity briefly turned into a local attraction, with locals gathering along the roadside to catch a glimpse of Abdullah during his run.
The appearance comes days after Abdullah participated in an international marathon held in Jammu, reflecting his continued engagement in fitness-related activities.
While the run was informal, the presence of the chief minister in a public setting prompted spontaneous reactions from people in the vicinity, many of whom followed his movement visually or through phone recordings.
No official program was linked to the activity, and it remained a personal fitness routine conducted in a public space.
Abdullah has in recent days been associated with public sporting participation, with his marathon involvement drawing attention across the region.
The early morning run in Bishnah adds to that visibility, placing him briefly in direct interaction with everyday public life outside formal political engagements. [KNT]
