Police Officer, Two PSOs Injured After Escort Vehicle Rolls Down Following Tyre Burst
Awantipora, Aug 10, KNT: Three police personnel including an officer were injured after an escort vehicle rolled down following a tyre burst near Zirayat Sharief in Awantipora on Monday.
The Scorpio, being used as the escort vehicle of the DYSP DAR Awantipora, met with the accident after one of its tyres reportedly burst, causing the vehicle to roll down.
The injured included DYSP DAR Awantipora Rafiq Ahmed and his two PSOs, SGCT Amir Ahmad and Riyaz Ahmad.
All three injured personnel were initially shifted to PHC Awantipora for medical attention. They were subsequently referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for further treatment.
