New Delhi, March 29, KNT: The President of India has extended an invitation to Member of Parliament from Baramulla, Er Rashid, for a breakfast meeting at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre in New Delhi, officials said.
The invitation is being seen as a notable engagement involving an incarcerated elected representative from Jammu and Kashmir at the highest constitutional level.
The invitation acknowledges the democratic mandate represented by Er Rashid, who has remained an active political voice from north Kashmir.
Officials said such engagements reflect institutional outreach and the importance of inclusive democratic processes, irrespective of political affiliations.
