School bus overturns in North Kashmir’s Bandipora, Two students, teacher injured

Bandipora, April 29, KNT: A school bus belonging to Angle Care School Safapora overturned after falling off the road in Bazipora Ajas area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday, leaving trio injured.

The bus, bearing registration number JK02CC-7458, turned turtle during the incident, officials said.

Two students and a teacher sustained injuries and were shifted to Hajin Hospital and Community Health Centre (CHC) Sumbal for treatment.

Station House Officer Sumbal confirmed the accident and said the injured were immediately evacuated to nearby health facilities.

The condition of the injured is stable. The cause of the accident could not be ascertained. [KNT]
