Motorcycle-Alto Collision Leaves Anantnag Youth Dead Despite Treatment
Anantnag, Sep 4, KNT: A 19-year-old motorcyclist died after sustaining critical injuries in a road accident in Duroo area of Anantnag district on Friday.
The deceased, identified as Rahil Ganie, son of Javaid Ahmad Ganie of Dabruna, was riding a motorcycle when it collided with an Alto car in Duroo, according to reports.
Rahil was initially shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for medical attention. Given the severity of his condition, doctors subsequently referred him to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
He was taken to SKIMS, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have initiated proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to the collision. [KNT]
