Srinagar, April 11, KNT: Senior Superintendent of Police Budgam Hariprasad K.K has appealed to parents and guardians to remain vigilant and proactive in preventing drug abuse among youth, urging timely reporting of any signs of substance use.
Addressing the issue, the officer emphasized the importance of close monitoring of children’s behavior and activities, stating that early identification of drug use can help prevent long-term addiction.
He urged parents to immediately report any suspicious signs to the police or concerned authorities, saying that prompt intervention can play a critical role in safeguarding young individuals.
The appeal comes amid ongoing efforts by police and administration to curb drug abuse and strengthen community participation in anti-narcotics initiatives.
