Sunil Sharma Accuses NC of Outsourcing 24,000 Jobs

Jammu, Feb 21, KNT: Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Sunil Sharma on Saturday accused the ruling Jammu and Kashmir National Conference of “deceiving” the people by allegedly outsourcing around 24,000 jobs in the Union Territory.
Addressing reporters, Sharma claimed that the decision has adversely impacted unemployed youth and alleged that the government had handed over recruitment-related responsibilities to a private company, which he described as detrimental to the interests of job aspirants.
The LoP alleged that the move reflects what he termed as disregard for the aspirations of educated youth. He further claimed that public sentiment is shifting and that the BJP is gaining ground among people across regions.
Sharma also targeted Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, accusing him of adopting an arrogant approach and using inappropriate language in political discourse. He alleged that threats had been issued to daily wage workers and even to members within his own party, describing the situation as indicative of frustration within the ruling setup.
The BJP leader warned that if the government does not reconsider and roll back the alleged outsourcing order, it may face strong public reaction. [KNT]
