Thar–Container Collision in Rajasthan Leaves Srinagar Student Dead

Jaipur, April 13, KNT: A Kashmiri student was killed and another injured in a road accident on the Jaipur stretch of NH-48 in Rajasthan after a Thar vehicle collided with a container truck near Daulatpura.

The accident occurred when a Thar vehicle bearing registration number JK01AX 6894 collided with a container truck (RJ 32GE 2102), resulting in a fatal casualty at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as Waseem Hassan, a resident of Basoora, Soura in Srinagar.

Another student, Farzan Ahmad Lone, also a resident of the same area, sustained injuries in the accident. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where his condition was reported to be stable.

Jammu Kashmir Students Association has confirmed the death of the Srinagar student. [KNT]
