Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a poor farmer named Ramu. He worked hard day and night but still remained poor. Near his field stood an old, abandoned well which people believed to be haunted.

The voice came again,

The well replied,
“I can help you. Every night, I reveal secrets of the world. If you listen carefully, you can change your fate. But remember — never reveal my secret to anyone.”
Ramu agreed.

Seeing his determination, his wife finally stopped insisting.
