
Srinagar, April 8, KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has dismissed two government employees from service over alleged links with militant organizations, with the order issued by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, officials said.
The terminated employees have been identified as Farhat Ali Khanday, a Class IV employee in the Education Department, and Muhammad Shafi Dar, a Class IV staffer in the Rural Development Department.
According to official details, Khanday has been accused of having links with the militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen, while Dar is alleged to be associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.
The action has been taken under provisions that allow dismissal of government employees in cases involving activities deemed prejudicial to the security of the state.
Officials said the order was issued by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha as part of ongoing measures targeting individuals with alleged links to militancy. [KNT]
