Omar Abdullah Approves Appointment of 42 Candidates Under J&K Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme

Srinagar, August 4, KNT: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has approved the appointment of 42 candidates in the Housing and Urban Development Department under the Jammu and Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme, 2022.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the appointments have been cleared under the provisions of the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme, which provides compassionate appointments to eligible beneficiaries in accordance with the notified policy.

The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the selected candidates and expressed hope that they would discharge their responsibilities with dedication, sincerity and a strong sense of public service.

The appointments are part of the implementation of the Jammu and Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme, 2022, under which eligible dependents are considered for compassionate appointment in government departments. [KNT]
