CRPF Vehicle Rams Into Truck on NH 44, Five Personnel Injured, Shifted for Treatment

Qazigund, Aug 18, KNT: Five CRPF personnel were injured after the vehicle in which they were travelling collided with a truck on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Levdura in Qazigund on Tuesday morning.

The collision took place on the busy highway stretch, leaving all five CRPF personnel injured. They were shifted to a nearby hospital soon after the accident for medical attention.

The injured have been identified as Inspector Raj Kumar Tiwari, SI/GD Rajinder Singh, ASI/GD Lovenday, ASI/GD Umesh Kumar and Head Constable Driver Virender.

Doctors are monitoring their condition, while further details regarding the circumstances leading to the collision were awaited.
