Prof Mubashir Hussain Masoodi Appointed Dean School of Applied Sciences & Technology at Kashmir University

Srinagar, Aug 21, KNT: The University of Kashmir has appointed Prof Mubashir Hussain Masoodi of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences as the new Dean of the School of Applied Sciences & Technology for a period of three years.

According to a notification issued by the University of Kashmir, the appointment has been made following the completion of the term of Prof Zulfikar Ali Bhat as Dean of the School of Applied Sciences & Technology.

The Vice Chancellor, exercising powers vested under Section 29(1) of the Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act, 1969, nominated Prof Masoodi to the position for three years with effect from August 24, 2026, or until he attains superannuation, whichever is earlier.

Prof Masoodi is presently associated with the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Kashmir.

The notification was issued by the Deputy Registrar (Academic) and circulated to various academic and administrative offices of the university. [KNT]
