Srinagar, Oct 23, KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has allowed students who clear private or bi-annual examinations to appear in the succeeding annual regular examination, a decision aimed at ensuring continuity in their academic progression.

Under the decision, schools have been directed to facilitate the admission of eligible students to the next class, irrespective of earlier restrictions that may have prevented them from continuing their studies through the regular stream.

The move provides an opportunity for students who qualify through private or bi-annual examinations to rejoin the regular academic system without losing continuity in their education.

The direction places responsibility on schools to facilitate the admission process for eligible students and implement the Board’s decision, removing procedural hurdles arising from previous restrictions.

The decision is expected to benefit students seeking to continue their studies in the regular stream after clearing the required examinations. [KNT]
