Budgam, Sep 22, KNT: A rice-laden truck overturned after hitting an electric pole and a petrol pump board at Sheikhpora in Budgam district, leaving the driver injured, officials said.

The truck, bearing registration number JK02DS-9739, was carrying rice when the accident occurred at Sheikhpora.

The impact damaged the truck and caused several rice bags to spill onto the road and surrounding area. The vehicle turned turtle following the collision.

The injured driver was shifted to District Hospital Budgam for treatment.
