PM Modi Hosts Global Leaders at AI Impact Summit in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 16, KNT: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday welcomed world leaders, captains of industry, innovators, policymakers, researchers and technology experts to the AI Impact Summit being hosted at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital.
The summit, themed “Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya”, underscores India’s commitment to leveraging Artificial Intelligence for welfare-driven and inclusive development. Addressing participants, the Prime Minister said the gathering aims to deliberate on the transformative potential of AI and ensure its responsible and human-centric application.
He highlighted that Artificial Intelligence is reshaping critical sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, governance and enterprise, and stressed the need for global collaboration to maximise its benefits. He expressed confidence that discussions at the summit would enrich international discourse on innovation, cooperation and ethical deployment of emerging technologies.
Prime Minister Modi said India stands at the forefront of the global AI transformation, powered by the strength of its 1.4 billion people, strong digital public infrastructure, a vibrant startup ecosystem and advanced research capabilities. He noted that India’s progress in AI reflects both ambition and responsibility, positioning the country as a key stakeholder in shaping the future of technology.
In a series of posts on social media platform X, the Prime Minister reiterated that the summit will help shape a progressive and opportunity-driven future while fostering collaboration among nations on AI governance and innovation.
