
Srinagar, March 30, KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday placed JKAS officer Sundeep Singh Bali, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag, under suspension pending an inquiry into his conduct, according to an official order.
The order, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), stated that Bali has been suspended with immediate effect under Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.
The action follows a pending enquiry into his conduct, the order said, without elaborating on the nature of the allegations.
During the period of suspension, Bali will remain attached to the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, as per the government directive.
The order was issued by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government M Raju and stated that the decision has been taken by order of the Lieutenant Governor.
