Rajouri, June 29, KNT: The anti-militancy operation in the forested areas of Dorimal in the Gambir Mughlan belt of the Manjakote sector in Rajouri district entered its 38th day on Monday, with security forces continuing extensive search and surveillance operations to trace the militants believed to be hiding in the area.

Officials said troops remained deployed across the dense forest terrain, carrying out coordinated ground searches supported by advanced surveillance equipment as part of the prolonged operation.

The search operation has been continuing across the designated areas with multiple security agencies working in close coordination to track down the militants while maintaining a tight security grid in and around the forested region.

Officials said the difficult terrain and dense vegetation have made the operation challenging, but the search efforts are continuing without interruption.

No fresh contact with the militants had been reported till the filing of this report. [KNT]
