Mumbai, April 18, KNT: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has renewed the contract of chief selector Ajit Agarkar for another year, allowing him to continue as chairman of the senior men’s selection committee.
The extension comes as the board looks to maintain continuity in team selection ahead of the 2027 ODI World Cup cycle.
Agarkar, a former India cricketer, will remain at the helm of the selection panel, which has overseen several key decisions during his tenure.
