Srinagar, June 2, KNT: India Yamaha Motor (IYM) on Tuesday flagged off its nationwide ‘Xplore India on XSR’ campaign from Srinagar, launching a 21-day motorcycle expedition covering nearly 6,000 kilometers across the country.
The journey, stretching from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, will pass through Attari, Ludhiana, Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Goa, Bengaluru and Coimbatore before concluding in Chennai.
Yamaha said the initiative aims to celebrate exploration, cultural diversity and the shared passion for motorcycling while connecting riders from different regions of India.
The campaign is being undertaken on Yamaha’s XSR155 motorcycle, a modern-retro model designed for long-distance touring and varied riding conditions.
Along the route, participants will interact with Yamaha owners through XSR Café Ride events, strengthening the company’s Blue Streaks rider community.
The ride was flagged off from Yamaha’s newly opened Blue Square showroom in Srinagar, alongside the inauguration of two premium outlets, The Destination Yamaha and Speed Wings.
Company officials said the campaign would showcase the motorcycle’s versatility, endurance and performance across mountains, highways, urban roads and coastal stretches while reinforcing Yamaha’s focus on rider engagement and community-building. [KNT]
