Rajouri, May 1, KNT: A double-storey kacha house was gutted in a fire after being struck by lightning in Azmatabad village of Thanamandi sub-division in Rajouri district on Friday.

The house, belonging to Gaur Khan, was extensively damaged in the blaze that broke out shortly after the lightning strike, leaving the structure completely destroyed.

Locals said the fire spread rapidly through the house, and despite efforts, the structure could not be saved.
