Baramulla, April 8, KNT: A man was killed after a load carrier auto plunged into Nallah Ningli in the Veer Panzipora area of Sopore, police said.
The vehicle fell into the nallah under circumstances that are being investigated, resulting in critical injuries to the driver.
He was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Tariq Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat and a resident of Sheer Colony.
Police said they have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident. [KNT]
