Man Killed After Stone Falls on Him in Uri While Grazing Livestock

Baramulla, April 16, KNT: A 60-year-old man died after a stone fell and struck him in the Charunda area of Uri sector in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday morning.

The incident occurred while the man was grazing livestock in the area, according to reports.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Shafi Jinder, son of Shera Jinder, a resident of Charunda Uri.

Reports said a stone suddenly rolled down from an upper slope and hit him, causing fatal injuries.

He died on the spot due to the impact, reports added. [KNT]
