Kathua, April 5, KNT: One person was killed and three others sustained injuries in a road accident on Bhagthali Road in Kathua district on Sunday, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Balvinder Singh, a 60-year-old resident of Kathua, who was brought dead to a hospital following the accident.
The incident involved four persons, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries, according to officials.
The three injured persons suffered head and internal injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at a nearby medical facility.
Officials said the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary for necessary medico-legal procedures.
Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and further proceedings are underway. [KNT]
