US President Donald Trump on Saturday issued a strong warning to Iran, saying the United States had already prepared a massive military response in the event of any attempt by the Iranian government to assassinate him.

In a statement posted on his Truth Social platform, Trump claimed that “1,000 missiles are locked and loaded” and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, adding that thousands more were ready to follow immediately if such an attack were carried out. He further said the standing order would remain in force for one year, subject to extension.

“Should the Iranian Government act on its threat… to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, me, orders have already been given, and the US Military is ready, willing, and able… to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran,” Trump wrote.

The remarks come amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran following recent military confrontations and renewed concerns over alleged threats against the US President. Trump’s statement followed reports of calls made during public gatherings in Iran advocating retaliation against him, although Iran has not officially responded to his latest warning.

The latest exchange has further escalated already strained relations between the two countries, with diplomatic efforts to ease tensions remaining uncertain.
