Vehicle Fitness Fee Portal Out of Order in Kulgam, Drivers Unable to Make Payments
Kulgam, Aug 22, KNT: Vehicle owners in Kulgam are facing difficulties as the online portal for submission of fitness fees has reportedly remained non-functional for the past two months, leaving drivers unable to deposit the required fees and complete the fitness-related process for their vehicles.
The prolonged disruption has resulted in a backlog of fitness fee payments and caused inconvenience to vehicle owners who depend on the facility for completing mandatory formalities.
The ARTO Kulgam has said that the concerned portal has already been closed and that the matter has been taken up with higher authorities for necessary action.
Vehicle owners said the continued unavailability of the facility was causing avoidable hardship and urged the authorities to restore the portal and clear the pending cases at the earliest.
They also appealed to the higher authorities to intervene in the matter and ensure that pending fitness fee payments and related certificates are processed without further delay. [KNT]
