Qazigund, April 10, KNT: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot and his pillion rider injured in a high-impact collision with a car at Manigam Mirbazar in Qazigund along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Friday late evening, officials said.
The crash involved an Alto car and a motorcycle, with the force of impact proving fatal for the rider.
The injured pillion rider was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, officials said.
Police have registered a case and initiated investigation into the circumstances of the accident. [KNT]
