Jammu, April 22, KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Wednesday declared the Class 12 Annual Regular 2026 results for the Jammu Division, with students across streams securing high scores.
In the Science stream, Ayushi Sharma of Happy Model Higher Secondary School, Udhampur, secured the top position with 497 marks (99.4%).
In the Commerce stream, Manik Dogra of S P Higher Secondary School, Exchange Road Jammu, also scored 497 marks (99.4%) to secure the top rank.
The Arts stream saw joint toppers, with Prince Prabhat Singh of Government Boys Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar Jammu and Rudraansh Rajput of Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School Jeevan Nagar Jammu both scoring 495 marks (99%).
In the Home Science stream, Siya Chouhan of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Mubarak Mandi secured the top position with 458 marks (91.6%).
According to the official result gazette, the overall pass percentage stood at 88.85%, with girls outperforming boys. The pass percentage among girls was recorded at 90.42%, while boys registered 87.51%.
Subject-wise data as per the news agency Kashmir News Trust showed high pass percentages across key subjects, with Social Studies recording 96%, Science 94%, and English 94%. Mathematics registered a pass percentage of 93%.
The results also indicated that a large number of students secured distinction and first division, reflecting improved performance trends in the Jammu Division.
Officials said the results are based on annual examinations conducted during February–March 2026, with evaluation carried out under standard board procedures. [KNT]
