Srinagar, May 2, KNT: Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar Dr GV Sundeep on Saturday visited City Centre along with other police officials to review security arrangements ahead of a major anti-drug rally scheduled for Sunday.
The visit focused on ensuring smooth conduct of the event, with officials assessing deployment plans, crowd management strategies, and coordination among different departments.
Authorities said thousands of people are expected to participate in the rally, making it one of the most significant public gatherings in the city in recent days.
Police officials reviewed key points around Lal Chowk, including entry and exit routes, security layering, and emergency response preparedness to handle large crowds.
