Srinagar, July 1, KNT: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday carried out a search at a residence in Srinagar in connection with an ongoing investigation under the Prevention of Corruption Act involving the affairs of a private company.
Official sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the raid was conducted at a house in Majeed Bagh, Sanat Nagar area of Srinagar, belonging to Manzoor Ahmed Wani. The search was undertaken in connection with FIR No. 08/2026 registered under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
The operation was carried out by an ACB team from Srinagar led by Inspector Irfan Ahmed.
According to officials, the search is linked to the affairs of Mosaic Enterprises, a private company operated by Naveed Manzoor Wani. Investigators are examining documents and other material considered relevant to the ongoing probe. [KNT]
