Army Conducts Ground Assessment in Udhampur Sector

Jammu, May 5, KNT: Senior officers of the Indian Army conducted a security review in the Basantgarh area of Udhampur district, assessing operational preparedness and the prevailing security situation, officials said.

According to an official post by White Knight Corps, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Corps, accompanied by the GOC of CIF (Delta), visited the area to evaluate ground conditions and operational readiness.

During the visit, the officers were briefed on the existing security layout, force deployment, surveillance mechanisms, and contingency response plans in place across the sector.

The discussions focused on strengthening operational frameworks and enhancing coordination among multiple agencies to ensure stability in the hinterland.

Army emphasized that sustained vigilance and integrated efforts remain key to maintaining security in sensitive areas.
