CIK Launches Valley-Wide Search Operations in Ongoing Investigation

Srinagar, June 27, KNT: Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Saturday carried out coordinated search operations at multiple locations across the Kashmir Valley as part of an ongoing investigation linked to a case registered with Police Station CIK Srinagar.

Official sources said simultaneous searches were conducted at the residences of Mubashir Khaliq Malla in Shartgund Payeen, Kupwara; Gulzar Ahmad Rather in Nowgam, Verinag, Anantnag; Syed Qalandar Shah in Chountwaliwar, Lar, Ganderbal; and Riyaz Ahmad Beigh at Hokarsar on the outskirts of Srinagar.

The searches were conducted in connection with FIR No. 7/2023 registered at Police Station CIK Srinagar. Local police and civil authorities assisted the CIK teams during the operation.

Officials said the searches were aimed at collecting evidence relevant to the ongoing investigation. The operation was continuing at the time of filing this report, and no arrests had been reported immediately.
