Officer Among 3 Injured as Police Vehicle Skids Off Road in North Kashmir’s Tangmarg

Baramulla, April 20, KNT: Three police personnel, including a Deputy Superintendent of Police (Operations), were injured after their vehicle skidded off the road at Babreshi Mode in the Tangmarg area of Baramulla district on Monday.

The injured include DySP Operations Kunzer Hafiz Jalal, who sustained minor shoulder injuries, Special Police Officer Muzaffar Ahmad, a resident of Nowpora Baramulla, who suffered forehead injuries, and Constable Javid Ahmad Dar of Kunzer, who sustained head injuries.

Officials said the police vehicle, carrying the DySP and his escort team, lost control and skidded off the road, resulting in the injuries.

The injured personnel were initially taken to Sub District Hospital Tangmarg and later referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.

All three injured are stated to be stable. Further details regarding the cause of the accident are being ascertained.[KNT]
